See Southern Living magazine bring the holidays to life, here in River Dunes. The 2022 Southern Living Idea House is decorated for the Season, with garlands, greenery, and holiday decor inspiration for all.

During the very special Host & Toast Weekend on November 11 – 13th, visitors will receive a commemorative Southern Living ornament, tasty holiday treats, recipe cards and a complimentary December edition of the magazine*.

The Holiday Host & Toast features the work of our very own Red Rickshaw Interior Design; handpicked by Southern Living to decorate the Idea House for the Season. 

Host & Toast guests will enjoy French Onion Soup Sandwiches, the delectable Annual “White Cake” featured in the December issue and more. There are sponsor gifts, ornaments and a December edition of Southern Living magazine for the first 500 guests* to sign up… The Idea House will be decorated and open for tours until Dec 18th. *complimentary gifts are while supplies last*

Come out to the Club in your Derby Day Attire to watch the most exciting two minutes in sports and cheer as the Kentucky Derby Winning Horse is draped with a Garland of Roses and the winning connections are presented with the Kentucky Derby Trophy!

• 6:30 to 7:30   Sunset Cruise on Miss Grace. Bring your boat shoes and meet the group at the Transient dock, directly in front of the Harbor Club.
• 7:30pm      Dinner at the Harbor Club.  Snappy casual dress attire.

Saturday

• 8:00 to 10:00     Breakfast at Yawl’s Cafe
• 10:00 to 12:30   Community Overview and Lunch at 55 Boathouse Road
• 1:00 to 4:00       One-on-One Community & Home Tours. Schedule with your agent.  Reserve a poolside cabana, kayaks, paddleboards, bikes or a golf cart.      Spa Appointments may be available.
• 7:00                    Property Owner Mixer – Meet & Greet.  Casual attire. Neighborhood Social Hour with wine & cheese. Followed by Dinner at the Club.

Sunday

• 8:00 to 10:00     Breakfast at Yawl’s Cafe
• 10:00am             Individual Real Estate tours to be scheduled with your agent. Or free time to explore the area and waterways by kayak and/or bikes

* Your Discovery package includes the cost of your accommodations and all activities except dinner on Friday evening, spa bookings and lunch on Sunday

We’re hoping the end of 2020 will see us all in the Club, celebrating with friends & family.

We couldn’t let this year end without a celebration in sight, so plan to gather, in the club or along the marina, to watch the ball drop and raise a toast to 2021, together or distant, to the friends & camaraderie of this great community.

As the year progresses, we hope that the need for the social spacing and restrictions on celebrations will be unnecessary. We may be celebrating in the club with dinner & dancing or we may host a modified outdoor viewing from around the marina to watch the ball drop on 2020.
